Selected Graphic Design Projects:
Having held a variety of PR-based leadership roles throughout my undergraduate career has given me great experience in promotional graphic design that I have carried into both professional and gig-based opportunities. I often work not only with design but also the promotional campaigns that are supported by this work, whether it be pushing to create overarching plans and series when completing design tasks or making designed materials to carry out the plans that I am expected to create in a certain role.

Strategizing print size and stock while creating and distributing effective physical advertisements is one of my favorite methods of promoting a cause, but I also have extensive experience in social media post design that encourages the necessary and sought-after element of user interaction. I never think of any physically or digitally available design of mine as a standalone promotional effort; I pride myself in recognizing not only the immense value of face-to-face interaction but also how a good talking-to can be supported by effective design of print and digital takeaways and strategically placed reminders.

I love to combine my skills in photography and graphic design to make projects that either reflect my developing personal style or specialize in brand identity, whether harmonizing with an existing voice or personally creating one for a client. Graphic design has also become an element of artistic bodies of work of mine.
STAT Cortaca Jug Design Winner, 2023
In 2023, I won a design competition related to the Cortaca Jug, which is one of the most prominent Division III College Football Games and regularly sets records for attendance in the division. The game is a historical rivalry between Ithaca College and SUNY Cortland. My design was printed on stickers and t-shirts that were widely distributed, free-of-charge, across the event. By my senior year at IC in 2025-2026, I still saw students wearing these shirts.
When creating my design, I took inspiration from Ithaca College's iconic fountains, classic colors, and the sentimental lyrics of IC's Alma Mater "Ithaca Forever," to honor the nostalgic spirit of the game. This was especially important to the design as the game was back on Ithaca's South Hill in 2023 after some years away. Because of the t-shirt printing, the design, made for white t-shirts, actually only includes two colors, yellow and blue. Using color effectively let me emphasize white text without printing white ink. I hand-drew/lettered my entire design in the spirit of the actual Cortaca Jug's hand-painted design. Yes, there's a hand-painted jug which serves as the game's trophy!
I'd love to scan my shirt and upload it here. However, it's hung proudly on my wall! Thank you to the campus organization Students Today, Alumni Tomorrow for choosing my design to be distributed so widely at this event.
